The 2 local charities suggested and chosen by the Mission committee are -“Kinergy” – Council of service for survivors of abuse based in Kingswood &“Sense”- Kingswood, which operates from the Woodside Family Centre. It provides for a range of services for children who are deaf and or deaf/blind, or have a multi sensory impairment

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM BETTY LOVELL
I have received two Christmas cards from Betty, one for all her Mothers’ Union friends and the other for all her friends at St James.
She writes “I miss you all, but have settled well. I join Ann and Jeremy at St Marks where I have been made welcome. I also go to Mothers’ Union there and have made some nice friends. With love Betty”
I have put these cards on the notice board by the refreshment area Pat
A huge “thank you” to all who helped to organise our Christmas fair on Saturday 28th November, to all who helped on the day and of course, not forgetting those who came and spent their money.
Although the weather was very “dreary”, there was a lovely, bright atmosphere in the hall, subsequently £774.00 was raised. Thank you

God is only a Prayer away, and we can reach Him every day, if we but lift our hands in prayer, and place ourselves in His loving care
