“United in Prayer”

Tuesday 8th September 10am St James Church

Mothers’ Union expresses its Christian identity through its life of prayer and worship. It is this spiritual life together which underpins our work with families and communities. Everyday a wave of prayer goes around the world as members stop and pray in the middle of the day to pray for the work of Mothers Union and international issues. These daily prayers follow an annual pattern which means that every Mothers Union region is prayed for at least once during the year

(Bristol Diocese Mothers Union Wave of Prayer is from 7th – 9th September 2015)

Please note that the starting time is 10.00am

Come and join us for a very tasty English Breakfast (or something lighter if required) and pick up a bargain or two from the tables. All proceeds will go towards the orphanage in Napal following the disaster there earlier in the year. Financial help is much needed there to help rebuild the orphanage and to help the children from the orphanage. Please spare an hour to support this project.

To book a table – £5 call Shirley Nash 0117 9402879 or via email:

Also we are having a tombola and would appreciate donations of small items- anything you may feel is suitable: unwanted gifts, bottles, chocolate, sweets etc. These can be brought in before the table top sale starts. Many thanks
