Holy Communion is on Thursday July 23rd @ 10am in Church. The service lasts about 40 minutes and is followed by a cup tea/coffee and a chat. It would be good if one or two more people, men as well, would come along to this “friendly” service

I was able to visit her in Southmead on Wednesday, she slept for most of the visit, but was able to be roused and was aware as I prayed and gave her a blessing.

Help is desperately needed on Friday (31st July) at around 2.00pm to transport (and erect) the gazebo and transport tables etc to the showground and to return them to the hall after the event on Sunday after 5.00pm. From September 2015, the PCC are considering engaging “professional” cleaners to clean the Church and Hall. You will appreciate that for one reason or another, the number of our faithful band of cleaners, over the past couple of years, has dwindled.

I have therefore made out a cleaning rota for July & August for our existing teams and await further news!  Pat Dale

Pasta Sauce, Jellies, Puddings, Washing Tablets, Razors, Juice, Tins of Curry/Chillies & Tins of Stew/Casseroles. These suggestions have come from the foodbank warehouse in Yate.
